Rosewood Academy requires every family to keep good records of their students' subjects of study, end of the year grades, extra curricular activities, test scores, and any honors or awards.
Rosewood Academy does not require you to report these records during the semester or at the end of the school year. These grades will be required for graduation or if you are returning your student(s) to public school.
When a transcript is needed from Rosewood Academy please fill out the Transcript Request Form.

Testing is not required, but highly recommended if considering returning to public school. The ACT tests knowledge in four subject areas (math, English, reading, and science). ACT’s written essay is optional, but it’s best to check with a specific college to find out whether the essay is required. Registration is done directly online. The homeschool high school code for the ACT is 969999. The California Achievement Test (CAT) is a nationally normed standardized test that measures achievement in the areas of Reading, Language Arts and Math. It meets most states' requirements for an annual assessment for homeschool - no degree required. The Iowa Tests (ITBS & ITED) meet most states' requirements for an annual, nationally normed standardized test and offer educators a diagnostic look at how their students are progressing in key academic areas - B.A. or B.S. Degree is required to administer this test.
Rosewood Academy does offer Iowa testing
Here is a website for information on standardized testing and administering tests. Seton also offers an Algebra Placement test.
An SAT or ACT score is often needed for college enrollment. Homeschoolers can register to take these tests at a location convenient for them.
The following codes are the same for homeschoolers in all states:
SAT Homeschool
Code: 970000
ACT Homeschool Code: 969-999
Attendance reports are required by law.
Rosewood Academy requires that you turn in any unexcused absences at the end of the school year. If you send in nothing, then at the end of the year we record perfect attendance. Our school year runs from August 1st to August 1st, 365 days. You can move the 140 days required around to meet you families needs.
